5. Victor Moses

Let’s be honest here, most Chelsea fans are pretty surprised that Victor Moses is still with the club. Conte’s decision to keep him with the senior squad after a myriad of loans caught pretty much everyone off guard this summer.

Perhaps an even bigger surprise is the fact that Moses has already appeared in five Premier League matches this season. He has managed to contribute a goal for the club, but his Whoscored.com player rating average of 6.42 illustrates just how below-average his play has been.

It’s not that Moses is a horrible player, he could do a job for a number of lower-tier Premier League clubs. He just doesn’t have any business playing a significant role at a club of Chelsea’s caliber. Someone in a relegation battle could certainly do worse than adding Moses to their options on the wing.

At any rate, there’s no reason for Moses to remain at Stamford Bridge all season long. Conte is going to buy new recruits in January which will push him entirely out of the squad. Chelsea would be better served to cash in on him while he still has some value.
