It hasn’t been easy for Real Salt Lake this season. Can they find their form before they are out?

Zero wins, four losses, and two draws. That is Real Salt Lake’s record over the past two months. When they take the pitch on Wednesday night at the StubHub Center against Los Angeles Galaxy (10:30pm EST UNiMas, TSN1, MLS Live) it will be two months to the day that they beat the Colorado Rapids at home. Since then the club has had some success (such as their come-from-behind draw against the Galaxy in September) but plenty of head-scratching moments.

But the Claret and Cobalt are not a side to be overlooked. Featuring one of the most balanced attacks in MLS, RSL are a persistent side that always seem to find themselves in matches and always capable of pulling off something beautiful late. It also helps to have Nick Rimando and Kyle Beckerman, two players who when it is all said and done will be in the conversation of the MLS All-Time Best XI roster (if they aren’t already).

To earn their second MLS Cup RSL supporters will hope that their mix young and veteran players can put together a run similar to their first one. But the fear is that their problems on the road will creep up again and their stay in MLS’ second season will be short-lived.

So with that in mind let’s take a look at the three hopes and one fear of Real Salt Lake!
