Vincent Janssen-7.5

If you are a Spurs fan that wasn’t satisfied with Janssen’s effort on the pitch today, then you should really find another club to support. He worked his tail off for the full 90 minutes against Leicester’s physical centre backs.

Normally I don’t give players a ton of credit for slotting a penalty home, but Janssen gets full credit for the goal since he drew the penalty. Some might have considered it a soft penalty, but the sum total of his work on the day deserved a goal.

It wasn’t a perfect match for the burly striker, but it was a step in the right direction for his Spurs career. Let’s hope he can build off this performance moving forward. He could be a key Plan B off the bench after Harry Kane returns to the starting XI.

Georges-Kevin N’Koudou-7

It’s time for the quick Frenchman to get some additional playing time. He looked very bright off the Spurs bench yesterday, and his fearless, direct style of play could have turned match in Tottenham’s favor.

More from Tottenham Hotspur

I will go so far as to say that he should start in Son’s place for the club’s upcoming Champions League match against Leverkusen. That might seem like a knee-jerk reaction to the club’s struggles to score, but I think it could be just the kick in the arse the Tottenham attack needs.

Harry Winks-6.5

The Spurs starlet struggled mightily against Liverpool in the EFL Cup, but looked much better in his cameo against the Foxes. He didn’t have a ton of time to make a huge impact, but he definitely looked to push his squad forward. Winks still isn’t ready for big time Premier League competition, but he took a step in the right direction today.
