Wing Backs

If Tottenham are going to defeat Arsenal on Sunday, they’re going to need both wing backs to play terrific matches. Both fullback spots are hugely influential under Pochettino’s system and will need to contribute both offensively and defensively to defeat the Gunners.

More from Tottenham Hotspur

Fortunately for Spurs, they’re blessed with two really top-notch options. The combination of Danny Rose and Kyle Walker gives the club arguably the best fullback pairing in the Premier League. In particular, each gives Tottenham great speed down both flanks.

While Ben Davies was never going to start this match, his absence from the squad come really hurt if the club suffers any further injuries in the back four. He’ll miss the NLD due to a nasty ankle injury he picked up against Bayer Leverkusen.

Pochettino will need 90 excellent minutes from both Walker and Rose to give the club a chance to pull off the upset.
