1. Bruma

The most important need Tottenham must address in January is adding another attacking midfielder. Spurs simply don’t get enough goals from their current attacking options.

It’s reasonable to expect players like Christian Eriksen, Dele Alli and Erik Lamela to improve as the season progresses. The club can’t sit back and wait for that to occur though. Levy much give Pochettino another quality option.

More from Tottenham Hotspur

Bruma seems to be the most likely attacking addition at the moment. Reports from Turkey claim that Spurs have sent officials to scout him in person on at least six occasions. That represents more than a passing interest.

This is another transfer target that could end up out of Tottenham’s price range. Galatasaray certainly don’t want to let Bruma go, and they’ll require a significant fee to pry him loose. There also could be significant competition for his signature. If he’s the attacker Pochettino really wants, Levy needs to make it happen.
