5. Marko Arnautovic

The first tall, temperamental and unpredictable international striker on the list, but certainly not the last.

Stoke City’s Austrian international has as many yellow cards (5) as anyone else in the division this campaign.

However, with just 17 fouls committed, Arnautovic is only joint eighteenth on that bad boy list. That said, when Arnautovic fouls – he fouls  – averaging a card every 3.4 infractions.

More from Premier League

At over 6 ft 3, Arnautovic is perhaps a victim of his physicality and he is certainly no shrinking violet when it comes to putting himself about a bit.

His place on this list is perhaps symptomatic of Stoke’s struggles in front of goal in a frustrating season so far

Arnautovic has only one goal from four shots on target so far, and his shots total at 20 is only three more that the number of fouls he has committed.

In the Austrian’s defence, he has been fouled more often (13) than any of the others on this list.
