5. Josh Onomah

If we’re honest, Josh Onomah has been a severe disappointment this season. The 19-year-old still has a bright future, but he hasn’t taken the step forward this season that many fans believed he would.

More from Tottenham Hotspur

As an example, he’s only made three Premier League appearances this season for a grand total of 11 minutes. Last season he looked like a player that could be the club’s first attacker off the bench this season. That just hasn’t materialized.

It’s not as if the club have a wealth of attacking options off the bench at the moment. If Onomah reaches his full potential he could certainly find his way into Pochettino’s match day squad on a regular basis.

The Europa League is going to give Onomah a real opportunity to elevate his place at Tottenham. A few good outings against high-level European competition could be just the boost he needs.
