Chelsea

One of the more intriguing destinations possible for Dimitri Payet is Stamford Bridge with Chelsea. The Premier League leaders may look at the talented midfielder to add even more power to their strong line-up.

Manager Antonio Conte may believe that Payet’s unique abilities on the pitch can provide the depth needed to keep the Blues at the top of the table until the end of the season. Chelsea currently hold a seven-point lead over second-place Tottenham.

More from Premier League

The question may be how well Payet can fit into Conte’s 3-4-3 formation. Playing more as a winger could become a legitimate possibility.

After the massive sale of Oscar to Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG, the addition of Payet would be welcome to improve the overall quality of the midfield.

Owner Roman Abramovich may find the idea of grabbing their London rival’s best player too tempting of a scenario with Dimitri Payet.
