The future is looking bright for Dortmund

In just six months, Ousmane Dembele has become one of the promising young talents in Europe. Dortmund rapidly pounced on the opportunity to sign the winger from Rennes for a reported £12 million fee.

The Frenchman has five goals to his name and created 9 assists this season and his excellent form has secured BVB a place in the Champions League last eight, with a pleasant opponent (Benfica)  in the first round of knockout matches.

Dembele is Dortmund’s undisputed first-team starter at just 19 years of age despite Thomas Tuchel’s star-studded attack that includes: Marco Reus, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, Mario Gotze and Andre Schurrle.

Although Dembele is under contract after signing a five-year deal last summer, expect elite European clubs such as Barcelona and Liverpool to come after the creative general this summer with a price tag set to be at least £60 million.
