Playing for the Special One

One element that can often attract a player to another club is the management leading a particular squad. With a chance to play for one of the most successful European managers, Neymar’s move to Manchester United to work under Jose Mourinho could bring fantastic success in the Premier League.

Mourinho understands what it takes to win in both the English top flight and the UEFA Champions League, and Neymar could potentially be a key catalyst towards those types of achievements at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils will have summer transfer targets identified in the coming months, as Mourinho looks to both improve the line-up in the present time and build for the future. The addition of Neymar would see tremendous benefits in both areas.

If Mourinho is able to add the likes of both Neymar and a player like Antoine Griezmann, suddenly Manchester United have a front-line that could overwhelm nearly any opposing defence. The Special One is often criticised for his results-based approach and lack of attacking play depending on match situations, but he could also likely get the most out of Neymar’s stunning abilities as well.

The opportunity to play for a manager of Jose Mourinho’s quality could be the extra push needed to make a summer transfer to Manchester United happen for Neymar.
