Hugo Lloris-7.5

Heading into the match, there was considerable concern that Pochettino would be forced to start Pau Lopez in goal due to Lloris’ illness. Frankly, he could have started Lopez and it probably wouldn’t have made any difference.

Tottenham’s French captain wasn’t called on often, but he made every save and clearance that was required of him. It was another excellent performance for Lloris. Spurs are lucky to have such a quality keeper.

Harry Kane-7

I didn’t want to see Kane enter the match, but clearly Pochettino wanted to give him an opportunity to knock off some rust. Fortunately, Kane showed all Spurs fans that there’s no need to be concerned about his health or fitness moving forward.

He didn’t find the back of the net, but he did hammer the post at the final whistle. More impressively, he drew a foul in a dangerous area with a terrific turn just minutes before that. It’s just the sort of play that Kane’s made all season long for Spurs. He’s back, and it is bad news for the rest of the Premier League.

Moussa Sissoko-6.5

When it comes to Tottenham’s most maligned player, we have to accept small victories. Sissoko’s cameo was pretty decent on the afternoon. It certainly wasn’t outstanding, but he didn’t hurt the club. As of late, that’s a victory for the embattled Frenchman.

Josh Onomah-Inc

It was good to see Onomah get a late run out, but I’m not entirely convinced he touched the ball. As such, he gets an incomplete for one of his rare Premier League appearances.
