1. Olivier Giroud

Every since his arrival at Arsenal, Giroud has been one of the most maligned players in the Premier League. Since joining from Montpellier in 2012, Giroud has scored 95 goals in 217 games for the Gunners, 13 of which have come this season.

Despite losing his place to Alexis Sanchez at the start of the season, Giroud has been one of the deadliest strikers in the league this season, scoring every 88.11 minutes. And he has been very effective coming on from the bench this season, scoring 5 of his 9 goals with Arsenal behind or level in matches.

Quite impressive stats for someone who isn’t rated highly by fans and experts. Giroud has been consistently scoring goals for both club and country and yet is criticized the most. The Frenchman is strong in the air and has the quality to pull off moments of magic, as he did with his scorpion kick against Crystal Palace.
