Dele Alli-8.5

Harry Kane couldn’t have enjoyed all of his success without significant help from his attacking midfield. Dele Alli certainly made life easier for his striker.

In the end, Dele found his way to earn a goal and an assist in a pretty ordinary performance. He wasn’t forced to make any spectacular plays to break down the Hull defense. Adequate play was enough to beat the Tigers on the day.

In a sense though, that’s a step in the right direction for Dele. He didn’t try to overcomplicate things. He let the match come to him and it paid off for his club.

More from Tottenham Hotspur

Christian Eriksen-8

The classy Dane didn’t find the back of the net, but he did manage to provide his club two assists. In particular, his beautiful free kick for Victor Wanyama’s goal was really a sight to behold.

Much like Dele, Eriksen didn’t really need to overexert himself in this match. He stayed calm and let his class shine. That was enough to dispatch Hull without any difficulty.

Son Heung-Min-8

It was a bit of a frustrating match for the South Korean star. He ended the match with one assist, but squandered several straight forward chances in front of goal. It’s hard to argue with any of Tottenham’s attackers on the afternoon, but Son could have done more.

On the positive side of things, Son continues to plague opponents more and more with his movement off the ball. That’s what’s contributed to his late season surge. He was in constant motion against Hull and it made Spurs’ attack all the more dangerous.
