4. Georges-Kevin N’Koudou

Many Tottenham fans have written the French winger off entirely, but I’m not completely without hope. His first half performance against PSG showed real glimpses of quality.

His challenge against Roma will be to put together a consistent performance for Pochettino. He’ll need to maintain his effort level and performance for a protracted period of time to really catch his manager’s eye.

The other thing N’Koudou needs to do is actually create something tangible on offense. He doesn’t necessarily need to find the back of the net himself, but he needs to at least create a meaningful scoring opportunity for his squad. In a perfect world, he’ll do that by using his pace to attack Roma’s defense.

If N’Koudou wants to force his way into Pochettino’s plans, he’ll have to play well this preseason. Time is ticking on the pacy winger’s career with Spurs. A good showing versus Roma could be very important for his Premier League future.
