Tottenham v West Ham projected Spurs starting XI: Indispensable star returns for Pochettino
Defensive Midfielder-Mousa Dembele
Dembele represents one of the most intriguing selection choices of the weekend. There’s really no telling if he’s fit enough to start against the hammers.

After all, Victor Wanyama isn’t available as a healthy option. If he were, then I could see Dembele being utilized as a high-impact substitute. Unfortunately, Pochettino doesn’t have that sort of flexibility this weekend. Dembele will be forced to push himself by starting this important fixture.
Defensive Midfielder-Eric Dier
Again, the injury to Wanyama makes a big impact here. It leaves Pochettino to choose between Dier and young Harry Winks to start alongside Dembele. Count on the Argentine gaffer to make the safer choice on Saturday.
Dier will likely relish the opportunity to play in another London derby. He tends to play his best football when the competition on the pitch is as tense as possible. That could lead him to a big day against Bilic’s squad.
