4. Dele Alli

I get it, Dele Alli has a frustrating habit of acting like a petulant child every now and then. However, that doesn’t change the fact that he’s one of the best attacking midfielders in the Premier League.

Unlike the way Spurs fans admire Harry Kane, a significant number of Tottenham supporters are guilty of underrating Dele’s talents. Perhaps in some ways the consistency of Kane serves to highlight Dele’s inconsistent play to the club’s most passionate fans.

Irregardless, Dele deserves all of the attention he’s garnering from European powers who want to sign him. Real Madrid and Barcelona aren’t interested in signing mediocre attackers. They only want to sign world-class talents. There’s a reason they are linked with Dele on a daily basis.

Yes, it would be marvelous if Dele would curb his childish stunts and become more like Kane. That’s not going to happen. The two players are very different in terms of temperament and style of play. Tottenham fans need to stop complaining about Dele’s imperfections and start applauding his true brilliance.
