Tottenham player ratings v Bournemouth: Eriksen spares Spurs
Hugo Lloris-8
The Tottenham captain wasn’t required to make many saves, but his fabulous first half reaction save kept Spurs in the match. If he doesn’t make that great save we may be having a much different conversation about the club’s performance today.

Lloris is guilty of the occasional disastrous decision, but he doesn’t get enough credit for just how many important saves he makes for Spurs. He earns more points for his club than he ever gives up.
Harry Kane-6.5
It wasn’t a banner day for Tottenham’s English talisman, but his work rate was pretty high. Despite being frozen out of the match for long stretches, he never stopped running hard for his teammates.
That sort of energy and constant movement is really what separates Kane from other strikers. Pundits love to wax poetic about his finishing ability, but the truth is he creates more chances than his peers. Combine that with his ability to convert a higher percentage of those chances than most strikers and it’s easy to see why he scores so often. He didn’t find the back of the net today, but he constantly harassed Bournemouth’s defence.
