Striker-Fernando Llorente

The talented Spanish veteran is still finding his footing at Spurs, but he put in an excellent shift against Real Madrid last week. He’ll get the chance to play a full match in place of Spurs’ usual starter, Harry Kane.

Really, this is just the sort of match that Llorente was brought in to play. Vincent Janssen couldn’t find any success in these sorts of matches, but it’s a solid bet Llorente will. He’s a proven Premier League goal scorer who will look to open his Spurs account in this match. West Ham get a slight reprieve by dodging Kane, but Llorente will present them with a serious challenge.

Keeper-Michel Vorm

Hugo Lloris has been magnificent this year for Spurs. His stellar stops against both Real Madrid and Liverpool were huge for the club. He will be rested ahead of the weekend match at Old Trafford too.

In his place steps another former Swansea player. Michel Vorm isn’t Lloris’ equal as a shot stopper, but he’s a very solid backup. He needs minutes to stay sharp and giving him this fixture against West Ham will do just that.
