Ivan Perisic

It’s no secret that Perisic was the “fourth signing” Jose Mourinho wanted in the summer. And Manchester United could make a move for the Croatian winger once again in the January transfer window. And his performances suggest that they would not be wrong in doing so.

Perisic has made a blistering start to the season for Inter Milan. The 28-year old has already bagged 4 goals and 5 games in 11 games this season. He has been involved in 9 of his side’s 22 goals so far this season. His WhoScored rating of 7.66 is higher than both Marcus Rashford (7.13) and Anthony Martial (7.08), who have both also enjoyed superb starts to the season.

While Perisic is a different type of player than the latter two, he can be exactly the type of player Mourinho and Manchester United need. He can play in all three attacking positions, which is important considering Mkhitaryan and Mata’s poor form. Perisic is also physically strong and helps out defensively.

He is exactly the player Jose Mourinho and Manchester United need. And the Red Devils should go all out to sign him in the winter transfer window.
