2. Marcus Rashford

When Wayne Rooney left Manchester United to rejoin his boyhood club, he did so knowing that the Red Devils had a ready-made replacement for him. Marcus Rashford is arguably the best player to come out of Manchester United’s famed youth academy in the last 10 years.

He took the world by storm when he scored a brace in his debut for the United first-team in the Europa League against Midtjylland. The 20-year old hasn’t looked back since, making 67 appearances for United, and making his international debut for England.

This season, he has scored 4 goals and provided 5 assists in 15 starts for United. Rashford is a favourite of José Mourinho, and his development will continue if Mourinho continues to favour him.

Rashford is one of the best forwards in the Premier League, and he can easily be described as the ‘next Harry Kane’. He will soon compete with Kane for the spot in the first-team, and it will be interesting to see how things go in the World Cup in Russia.
