Tottenham player ratings at Palace: Sanchez and Dier dominate
Harry Kane-6
Kane deserves a lot of credit for persevering long enough to give his squad the match winning goal. On the other hand, it’s hard to call his afternoon against Palace as anything other than wasteful.
He squandered multiple scoring chances that should have put this match out of reach. On a different day, he could have notched another Premier League hat trick against Roy Hodgson’s makeshift back line. I know for some Spurs fans it is sacrilege to criticize Kane, but this certainly wasn’t his finest moment.

Still, he got his club the goal he had to have. In the end, that’s enough to get him a passing grade in this one.
Hugo Lloris-6
As I said in the open, Lloris wasn’t given very much to do in this match. He kept out all of Palace’s five total shots during the match, but none presented anything resembling a challenging save.
Lloris did what he had to do to win this match, but so could the majority of Tottenham’s Academy keepers.
