Heung-Min Son-6

Son was the rare Tottenham star who didn’t really enjoy himself in this match. He did a good job threatening the Swansea defense by playing on their back shoulder, but he couldn’t really make anything happen.

More from Tottenham Hotspur

Per usual, my biggest issue with Son playing as a lone striker is the lack of pressure he puts on the opposition when they have the ball. A very underrated part of Harry Kane’s game is his ability to really press the opposition. Son would do well to emulate his English teammate in that regard.

Michel Vorm-8.5

The former Swansea keeper didn’t have a ton of action against his old club, but he did everything he needed to keep a clean sheet. Specifically, he denied Tammy Abraham from close range to open the second half with two terrific saves.

Other than that, the Dutch keeper was pretty bored. I thought he should have come forward more forcefully for a couple of crosses into the box, but that’s nitpicking his performance. It was an excellent match from a quality backup keeper.
