Danny Rose-7

Rose had a pretty strange match. In the first half he looked completely flummoxed against the Leicester attack but he was competent offensively. Fortunately, he got everything going in the second 45 minutes.

More from Tottenham Hotspur

He finished the match with one assist, but his runs forward really gave the Foxes trouble. He was a big reason that Danny Simpson and Hamza Choudhury looked so lost for long stretches. Rose probably deserved to draw a penalty against the latter in the second half. It wasn’t a banner day for Rose, but the second half was a bright note to finish his erratic campaign.

Kyle Walker-Peters-8

It’s fair to criticize the young Englishman for struggling to contain Demarai Gray early in this match. He conceded the early free kick that led to Jamie Vardy’s opening goal. After his early jitters, he was the Man of the Match.

He absolutely torched Christian Fuchs and Gray down the left flank. Walker-Peters notched two assists on the day but it easily could have been more. There’s a lot of talk about Kieran Trippier’s crossing ability, but Walker-Peters may already be better than the English international at setting up his teammates. If he doesn’t get more minutes for Pochettino next season it is a crime.
