RB: Mattia De Sciglio

Usually we could expect to see Joao Cancelo take this starting spot, but with a Champions League match on Wednesday we’ll see some rotations to the squad. Cancelo is a prime candidate for rotation after starting both of Portugal’s matches during the international break.

Mattia De Sciglio will be the man to benefit from Cancelo getting a rest. He started the year recovering from an injury and has yet to make an appearance for Juve this season. However, he was included in the squad that faced Parma before the international break. He played well in this role last season when he was able to stay healthy and should be ready return after using the last few weeks to regain fitness. Juve will need him to perform well here to confidently rotate Cancelo out throughout the season.

LB: Alex Sandro

Luckily for Juventus they will probably only need to rotate one of their full backs out this week. Alex Sandro only started 1 of Brazil’s matches during the break, so he should be fresh enough to start Sunday and Wednesday.

Juventus is fortunate to have Sandro available as they really have no idea what they would get out of Leonardo Spinazzola right now. Sandro will be the anchor for a defense that will probably be heavily rotated for this match. His presence will be very welcome for the Juve defense as they try to slow down Domenico Berardi and the high-powered Sassuolo attack.
