LM: Joao Cancelo 7.5/10

Joao Cancelo continues to impress for Juve, even when he was played out of position in this match. He was solid defensively and even had a few bright moments in attack. He sent in dangerous crosses throughout the match and nearly scored a goal for Juve. He cut inside and unleashed a curling shot with the outside of his foot that required a save from Skorupski. Even out of position he looked good for Juve yet again and will factor heavily into the match against Napoli.

CM: Rodrigo Bentancur 7/10

This was a better match for Bentancur. He didn’t look great in his first appearance against Frosinone, but he made a major impact on this match. He made a tackle and pass that led directly to the second goal for Juve. Getting some playing time is already starting to pay off for his form. This performance was a good sign that he’ll be able to contribute when Juve needs him.

CM: Miralem Pjanic 6.5/10

Pjanic wasn’t all that involved in this match, but it wasn’t really necessary for him to be. He did make 2 tackles and an interception, but he didn’t provide much inspiration for the attack. He was accurate as usual, completing an impressive 98.3% of his passes. Overall, it wasn’t a big day for Pjanic, but that probably had a lot to do with Juve being on cruise control in the second half.

CM: Blaise Matuidi 8.5/10

This match was another feather in Matuidi’s cap. It started with his first shot of the match requiring a save from Skorupski that led to Dybala’s goal on the rebound. Shortly after he buried Ronaldo’s cross i the top of the net for his second goal of the season. He also made 3 tackles and 2 interception, controlling the midfield as he has all season with Juve. It was a great performance for Matuidi all over the field and he continues to play a key role for this Juve midfield.

RM: Juan Cuadrado 7/10

This was a slightly better performance for Cuadrado. He was more involved in the attack and actually looked dangerous early on. He made a key pass, a tackle and 2 interceptions. I still don’t like Juve playing him in this position, but I can’t fault him for Juve’s lack of full back depth. He played fine in this match, but hopefully in his next appearance Juve will actually be able to play him on the right wing.
