GK: Wojciech Szczesny

Mattia Perin kept his second clean sheet of the year against SPAL in Saturday, but it won’t be enough to take this job from Wojciech Szczesny. Szczsesny has been fantastic for Juve since taking  over the starting keeper role this season. His performance in the first match against Valencia was one of his highlights of the season. His penalty save in the second half helped Juve keep a clean sheet in a match where emotions were running high after Ronaldo was sent off. There’s no question he’ll be given the chance to shut Valencia down again.

LB: Alex Sandro

Alex Sandro is the only defensive player who started the match against SPAL who will also start this match. He was a stabilizing presence for Juve in that match like he has been throughout the season. He played a big part in Juve being able keep a clean sheet in the first match against Valencia. His 4 clearances helped Juve hold off Valencia as they tried to hold a lead with 10 men. Juve will be expecting another good defensive performance from him here. He has been Serie A’s best left back again this season and he is guaranteed a starting spot for this match.

RB: Joao Cancelo

Joao Cancelo got the day off on Saturday and that’ll mean he’s plenty rested for the match against Valencia. He dominated the right side of the field in the first match against Valencia and should play a big part in the matchup again here. He has been extremely impressive in his first season with Juventus and is guaranteed to start against his former team once again. With Mario Mandzukic up front Cancelo will have a great target when he gets loose to send in crosses. Cancelo has gotten better with each match and Juve will be hoping that trend continues here.
