Youri Tielemans

Tielemans has long been viewed as the next big thing in football, and his 2017 move to AS Monaco was expected to help him take his game to the next level. However, things did not work out for the Anderlecht youth academy product in Monte Carlo. And just over six months ago, he was struggling to get a game for a relegation threatened AS Monaco side.

But then Tielemans joined Leicester City on loan in January, and his eye-catching performances in the Premier League made the world take notice. Now the Belgian international is wanted by a number of big clubs in Europe, including Tottenham Hotspur, AC Milan and Manchester United as well as Leicester City.

Tielemans is a natural playmaker with an eye for goal and can fill the Pogba sized hole at United. As he showed at Leicester, he is comfortable with the ball at his feet and is capable of dictating play from the middle of the park. He has a great passing range, likes to run at defenders and create chances for his teammates, making him a potent threat from midfield. Tielemans may only be 22 but he has already has six years of professional experience under his belt and is also a regular for the Belgian national team.

Tielemans is expected to cost around 40 million pounds, which would be a steal considering his age, experience and potential. But with a number of clubs interested in signing him, United must act quickly if they want to bring him to Old Trafford.
