CM: Fabinho – 6.5/10

Fabinho played a few sloppy passes from midfield. There was also a time where he turned into a WWE wrestler and clotheslined Daniel James with his hip. The second half was a lot better for Fabinho since he was given the license to push forward more. He played a small part in Adam Lallana’s equaliser, doing well to compose the play.

CM: Jordan Henderson – 4/10

In the second half, Henderson was converted to the right-sided midfielder as Liverpool tried to play more attacking. This was not his natural position and it showed. He was rightly brought off for Adam Lallana and we all know how that turned out…

In the end, it was not a captain’s performance by Henderson but luckily the late equaliser (and his short-lived confrontation with Ashley Young) will hide that fact.

CM: Georginio Wijnaldum – 6.5/10

Wijnaldum got off to an excellent start in the first half, looking like Liverpool’s most settled player. He showed glimpses of the role he plays with the Netherlands, using his quick footwork in the final third. Throughout the match, he started to settle down which was a shame to see because he was Liverpool’s most promising player early on.
