CM: Rodrigo Bentancur 7.5/10

This was one of Rodrigo Bentancur’s best performances of the season. He played a nice ball to Bonucci to set up his goal and played well on the defensive end. He made a big tackle in the first half to take a chance away from Sassuolo and helped keep their midfield off-balance in the match. This was the Bentancur I have been waiting to see and he might be able to get himself a more permanent spot in the starting lineup if he keeps playing like this.

CM: Miralem Pjanic 7/10

Like Bentancur, Pjanic played a strong defensive match and made an impact with his passing. Unlike Bentancur, Pjanic’s passing just wasn’t able to get the final result Juve was looking for. Some of the passes he made in this match were absolutely beautiful, but his teammates just couldn’t finish the moves off. This was a pretty normal day for Pjanic this season. It’s just too bad some of his teammates couldn’t play at the same level.

CM: Emre Can 4/10

If Emre Can wasn’t already being sold this winter, then you have to think that Juve is looking for a buyer after this match. He was finally able to get back in the starting lineup, but didn’t manage to do anything to endear himself to the club. He wasted multiple chances during the match, including  squandering a beautiful cross from Gonzalo Higuain that set him up right in front of the goal. This was a bad match from Can and should just about guarantee that if we ever see him in the starting lineup again, it won’t be any time soon.
