Juventus has had plenty of memorable moments to far in what has been a very eventful first half of the season.

That tends to happen when you are battling with a league rival for first place and are in the midst of your most successful Champions League group stage in over 2 decades. Narrowing down Juve’s moments to a top 5 wasn’t easy, but here are my top 5 most memorable Juventus moments so far this season (with a couple of honorable mentions that just missed the cut):

Honorable Mentions:

Wojciech Szczesny save vs AC Milan

Like every other moment on this list, this was an incredible moment that I think deserves recognition. However, I just don’t think Szczesny’s save of Gabriel Paqueta’s header was as meaningful as the plays that made the top 5. It was a spectacular save and helped Juve get the win in that match, but a win over AC Milan just doesn’t quite have the same significance it used to.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s header vs Sampdoria

This goal was obviously extremely impressive and it’s the one that a lot of media will remind us about for the rest of the season, but it has the same problem that Szczesny’s big moment has. This goal just wasn’t as meaningful as the top 5 moments. It came in a match against a Sampdoria squad that finds themselves at the bottom of the table and it didn’t change much for Juve in any competition. It was a great goal and an incredible athletic feat, but it fell just short of the top 5.
