After a weekend of FA Cup action, the Premier League returns to our television screens this weekend. Can Tottenham slow Liverpool down in London? Will Mikel Arteta‘s men claim back-to-back victories?

Week 21 of the Premier League was full of good competition and a few surprises. Chelsea were held to a draw on the road against Brighton, and Southampton managed to upset Tottenham in front of their supporters at St. Mary’s Stadium.

Mikel Arteta celebrated his first victory as Arsenal’s manager after his side defeated Manchester United. David Moyes got off the mark with a victory in his debut as Manuel Pellegrini’s replacement at West Ham. Eddie Howe, on the other hand, is in the hot seat after his team fell into the relegation zone.

For the most part, the Premier League is unpredictable, but one thing is for certain: this weekend will be comprised of entertaining football. Liverpool and Tottenham will steal the headlines this weekend, but can Jose Mourinho‘s men compete with the league leaders without Harry Kane? Carlo Ancelotti suffered his first defeat with Everton last week, but can he avoid the same fate against a scrappy and stubborn Brighton side? All these questions will be answered this weekend, but until then here are predictions for every game in week 22.

Arsenal win their second-consecutive game

The Emirates Stadium was booming last week when Arsenal defeated Manchester United. The Gunners were clicking on all cylinders and they made it difficult for the Red Devils to get back into the game after conceding early on. Although Mikel Arteta and his players are flying high after that win, they must stay grounded against Crystal Palace this weekend.

Roy Hodgson’s men have only lost once in their last eight games and that loss was on the road. Crystal Palace have claimed seven points from their last three home games, but those points came against teams ranked 14th and lower in the league table. Arsenal will not dominate this game, but their creativity in the middle of the park will be too much for Crystal Palace to handle. Momentum is on Arsenal’s side and they will extend their winning streak at Selhurst Park.

Prediction: Crystal Palace 0-2 Arsenal
