6 moves Juventus should make before the transfer window closes

Sign Christian Eriksen
Juventus is usually pretty great at making opportune signings. They aren’t always necessarily the most talented options available to fill Juve’s needs, but the prices Juve acquires them at give their addition a lot of value. For once, Juve has an opportunity coming up to get a great value on a player who would be a perfect fit for the squad.
To bring him in this month would supposedly only cost 20 million euros (a price I can’t believe Inter is currently even haggling over). He would slide right into Juve’s trequartista role and finally give them an attacking presence that they could rely on in the midfield. Eriksen’s former cross-town rival, Aaron Ramsey, was supposed to be that player, but he has had the same injury problems at Juve that plagued him at Arsenal. The obvious weak point of Juve’s squad right now is in their midfield and Eriksen would quickly change that.
There is also the added wrinkle that if Juve doesn’t swoop in and steal him, Inter Milan is the frontrunner to land Eriksen. That would make continuing their Scudetto rain tougher than ever as they are already struggling to separate themselves from Inter. If Inter adds another world-class player to their squad, then it could be game over for Juve in the second half of this season.
Juventus has needed a midfielder who can play the role that Eriksen thrives in for a few years now. This just seems like the right time to go out and get one and also prevent their league rival from getting one at the same time.
