Chelsea vs Arsenal: 3 key battles which could sway the London derby

3. Tammy Abraham vs the Arsenal centre backs
I know what you’re thinking. This is an easy battle, isn’t it? I mean, the Arsenal defence has never quite been top notch. However, the defending has drastically improved since Arteta took over, as Lampard learned in his previous meeting with the Gunners.
That said, Chelsea do have one thing that Arsenal don’t; Tammy Abraham. The young Englishman has been one of, if not the best striker in the Premier League this season and he will be eager to add to his tally against Arsenal once more.

Shkodran Mustafi put in an excellent shift against Sheffield United and since opening up to his fans, has received a lot more praise and confidence. David Luiz knows all about the way in which Chelsea attack and he will decipher a thing or two about the way Frank Lampard manages from his time as a player at Chelsea.
The Brazil international will likely start in this match and if he is to prevent Abraham from scoring, then he will need to stick tight to the England international. Aerial duels could also be a factor in this match, so the whichever centre backs Arteta opts for must be prepared and ready to beat their opponents in the air.
