Centre midfield: Jordan Henderson

Jordan Henderson was terrific against Manchester United at the weekend and I can see him being rewarded with another start from Jurgen Klopp. He is a natural leader and he is the main dictator of play for Liverpool so if they are to get anything from this match, Henderson will be important.

Centre midfield: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

While Fabinho looks to be ready to make his first start since for a few months, I can see it being another appearance on the bench for the Brazil international. If he were to replace anyone in this lineup, it would be the Ox but I think Klopp will start him.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is a box-to-box midfielder and his passing has greatly improved since he made the move from Arsenal a few seasons ago. An injury saw him sidelined for a significant amount of time but he is now starting to find full match fitness and a start against Wolves will do him the world of good.

Centre midfield: Georginio Wijnaldum

If Wijnaldum starts alongside Henderson and the Ox it would be an unchanged midfield from the Manchester United match but Klopp doesn’t have much choice given the injuries he’s had to work around.

Wijnaldum has made 21 out a possible 22 starts for Liverpool and Klopp seems to have a lot of trust in him. Should he start, he may need to play a little deeper than best-suits him but he will be given the license to roam forward at times.
