3. Rodrigo Moreno (Valencia)

If Barcelona want to stick to La Liga and weaken a league rival while they’re at it, then they should look no further than Rodrigo. The 28-year-old forward has been in fine form for Valencia this season and he could be exactly what the Catalans need going forward.

Barcelona have shown a keen interest in Rodrigo this past week but the link seems to be dying down a bit in the last few days. If Barcelona want to get a deal done before the window closes, then they need to revamp their interest and keep probing Valencia.

Rodrigo is very much a “false-nine” type striker, meaning he likes to drop deep and get his wingers involved in the game. He has eight assists across all competitions this season because of this style of play.

Rodrigo relies on his footwork and touches a lot which will come as no surprise to Barcelona fans. He could be the man to fill the very hard-to-fill boots of Luis Suarez and given his age, he might just be the best option of this list.

The injury of Luis Suarez was bound to be a hard one for Barcelona officials to take but they mustn’t let it get to them. They must remain level-headed and keep their options open, being sure to avert rushing into any rash decision. There are strikers out there in the transfer market, it just takes some looking.

Who do you think Barcelona should sign to fill the void of Suarez’s injury?
