Arsenal didn’t get the result they wanted at Turf Moor…

Arsenal faced a visit to Lancashire this afternoon in the Premier League as they were hosted by Burnley on Turf Moor. The match was deprived of action as the scoreline was a boring 0-0 draw.

Mikel Arteta put out a strong lineup in the hopes of picking up a win to start off February but he had to settle for another draw. While the Gunners remain unbeaten in 2020, the boss will surely be uncomfortable with the number of draws he is witnessing from his side.

There were a few standout performers in this match, both on the good and bad side. That said, let’s jump into this afternoon’s player ratings…

Bernd Leno – 7/10

Leno was called into action more often than he would have liked but he did well to keep the clean sheet. Arsenal can feel safe in the hands of Leno and he has been somewhat an unsung hero this season. All he can do is save the shots he faces.

He was relatively lucky that Burnley didn’t have many shots on target but he did well to keep out any threat. He can drive home to London with his head held high.
