Serge Aurier (4/10)

Aurier had a nightmarish 90 minutes having to deal with the marauding Angelino. The Manchester City loanee caused Aurier a lot of problems down the wing, and came out on top more often than not. Aurier was also at fault for Leipzig’s second, as he misjudged his header, allowing Angelino to run into space and find Sabitzer, who headed the ball into the net.

The Tottenham wing-back made some ambitious forward runs, but lacked the end product to hurt Leipzig.

Giovanni Lo Celso (6.5/10)

Lo Celso wasn’t able to get involved in the game as much as he would have liked, but still showed flashes of his attacking quality and creativity. He came closest to scoring for his side in the first half when his effort from the edge of the box was parried away by the RB Leipzig goalkeeper.

Harry Winks (4.5/10)

Another player who spent the majority of the game chasing shadows, Harry Winks really struggled to deal with Leipzig’s press and midfield dominance. He battled hard as always, but was no match to Leipzig’s midfield. He grew increasingly frustrated as the game went on, and was booked for a tactical foul in the first half.

Ryan Sessegnon (5/10)

Sessegnon had another difficult night as he failed to make the desired impact from left wing back. He did not look too comfortable defensively, nor did he offer any quality or threat going forward. The 19 year old slightly improved after the break, but often looked uncertain with the ball at his feet.
