Hi, I'm Ryan- avid football fan and journalist (hopefully you'll agree with the latter). I even played to a reasonable level at one point. My life is consumed by the beautiful game- whether its tinkering with tactical shape, mulling over the historic formation of a club from distant shores, or attempting to chart every granular movement of the club I love- an hour rarely floats by without locking in to a fresh footballing thought stream. My particular passion lies within the Scottish game- for me, its controversies, charisma and undeniable charm put it ahead of European's big leagues as a spectacle. For those who degrade or deride its quality- get a grip, give it a watch, and enjoy eating some humble pie. Even better, its turbulent narratives read more like a toxic thriller than the typical football pantomime you find elsewhere.
