Prior to the start of this campaign, Greece had won seven of their last ten competitive fixtures, most notably beating England at Wembley a year ago. Now though, defeat in Copenhagen, coupled with Scotland beating Belarus at Hampden earlier on Sunday, would see the Blue and Whites eliminated from World Cup contention with two matches still to play.
