Paris St Germain, Borussia Dortmund comprise first semifinal pairing
The first UEFA Champions League semifinal pairing has been established after Tuesday's quarterfinals matches. Paris Saint-Germain defeated Barcelona 4-1 in Spain while Borussia Dortmund ran past Atletico de Madrid 4-2.

Atletico Madrid bid farewell to the Champions League after failing to protect the 2-1 advantage from the first leg. Instead, Borussia Dortmund eiched their name into the semifinals bracket.
The first half of the match at Signal Iduna Park ended with the home team leading 2-0 with goals by Julian Brandt (minute 34) and Ian Maatsen (minute 39).
In the highly competitive match, the Spanish team leveled the score at 2-2 after a Mats Hummels own goal (minute 49) and an Angel Correa goal in the 64th minute. Dortmund went back up thanks to Niclas Füllkrug (minute 71), and Marcel Sabitzer added an insurance goal in the 74th minute.
Barcelona 1-4 Paris Saint-Germain
In another match, Paris Saint Germain reached the semifinals by beating 10-man Barça 4-1 after losing to Barcelona at home in the first leg.
The first half of the match ended in a 1-1 draw after goals from Raphinha in the 12th minute and Ousmane Dembele in the 40th minute, but in between Barcelona's Uruguayan defender Ronald Araujo received a red card.
Vitinha put the French team ahead in the 54th minute with a long-range shot and a PSG victory looked inevitable as shorthanded Barcelona began tiring.
PSG's star winger Kylian Mbappe put the French side ahead on aggregate with a penalty kick in the 61st minute and he completed the scoring in minute 89, sweeping in a rebound from the right side..
The first match of the semi-final between PSG and Borussia Dortmund will take place on April 30. The rematch will be played on May 7 and the winning team will advance to the final.
