Here are five things to look forward to as Real Madrid take on Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals

It will be a matchup of two of the more attacking clubs as Real Madrid take on Manchester City in the Champions League semis.

Real Madrid has caught fire as of late and have found themselves of striking distance of the Spanish double. After their 2-1 win against FC Barcelona in El Clasico, Real Madrid have rattled off win after win, with the exception of the 2-0 loss at Wolfsburg in the first leg of the Round of 16 in the UCL. But they were able to advance thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo’s hat trick. They are also flying high in La Liga as they find themselves one point behind co-leaders Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. It will be a tight race till the end in Spain.

Meanwhile Manchester City are using Europe as an escape from the Premier League as they sit 12 points behind leaders Leicester City and are tied for 3rd with Arsenal. The Citizens most recently swept away Chelsea in Stamford Bridge thanks to a Sergio Aguero hat trick, had a tough draw against Newcastle, and also thrashed Stoke City 4-0 in their three most recent matches. Manchester City most recently beat PSG in the Round of 16 to advance to the semi’s.

Here are five things to watch for in the first leg.
