AC Milan youngster could be on the move

A move could be on for one AC Milan outcast
AC Milan corrected their early season blunders by losing just twice in 2018. This granted them a bid in the Europa League next season, where they crashed out to Arsenal this year. Now, the club is looking to sell their top scorer of the competition after he has failed to live up to expectations.
Portuguese forward Andre Silva could leave the club just a season after joining. Insidefutbol reported that both Wolves and Monaco could land the forward, but the fee would be around £31 million. Both are logical moves, but one makes much more sense for Silva.
After scoring just two goals in over 900 minutes in the league, it really is not a wonder why Milan is looking to sell the forward.
Monaco specializes in developing young talent and helping it blossom. They have done it in the past with players like Thierry Henry and Kylian Mbappe and they are currently doing it now with Youri Tielemans and Rony Lopes.
Transferring to Monaco would also mean better service in the box. Monaco as a team are used to serving up Falcao, who is one of the best headers of the ball in the modern game.
Silva is also quite skilled in the air and has quite the vertical. Combine that with his poacher’s instinct and Monaco would be getting a solid forward to develop.

Going to Wolves would be great for Silva as well since the club was recently promoted to the Premier League. Silva would be a fantastic addition to the squad that already has Portuguese ties throughout.
The pace of the Premier League may not suit his style quite as much, but with Diogo Jota playing alongside him, the duo would certainly rack up the goals.
Leaving AC Milan after just one season may seem a bit drastic, but Andre Silva needs to do what is best for his career. He did not get nearly enough minutes this season and his statistics reflected that.
Both Wolves and Monaco would give him a chance to test new waters as well as get consistent minutes throughout the year.

With a big World Cup coming up for Portugal and Andre Silva, the forward needs to make a big impact in Russia. His performance could drive up his interest level from other clubs, meaning he will have more options than just Wolves or Monaco to choose from. If those do end up being the only two options, though, then Monaco may be the better option for Silva.
