AC Milan may not be keeping one star striker, but another could be joining their ranks
AC Milan have rebounded nicely after a slow start to the season. They have suffered just one loss in their last five matches, coming at the hands of league leaders Juventus.
Milan have improved their goal scoring as the season goes on as well, with Patrick Cutrone and Gonzalo Higuain finding great form. The latter could be on his way out of the club after this season, though, as Milan are not likely to exercise the option to buy after his loan expires.
This would leave Milan with just Cutrone to lead the line. As impressive and promising as he is, the addition of another veteran striker could be needed. A temporary fix could take place this January, with the iconic Zlatan Ibrahimovic being heavily linked with the club.
According to an AC Milan news site, Zlatan has agreed to join the club on a six month contract. This blockbuster reunion would take supporters down a nostalgic road filled with incredible goals and dazzling displays of athleticism.

At 37 years of age, Ibrahimovic continues to defy all odds and produce mind-boggling results. A staggering 22 goal return in MLS saw Zlatan turn back the hands of time and completely dominate the league.
There will be a lot more doubt on whether or not he can produce in one of Europe’s top five leagues again, but if anyone can do it, it is Zlatan. The service he will be receiving makes the task a little less daunting for the Swede.
Suso has been the provider for Milan this season, leading Serie A with eight assists on the season. The ex-Liverpool forward is one of the most dangerous in the league cutting in on his left foot, and having Zlatan to lay the ball of to will only make him more of a threat.
Milan will need to sign a new striker or two after this season, but for now, they are setting up a tantalizing attacking core. The temporary fix is just that, but if it can bring the club any sort of silverware by the end of the season, it will undoubtedly be seen as a success.
