Bournemouth have won each of their last four meetings with Everton, as well as eight of the last ten.

The Toffees are winless in eight visits to Dorset, losing seven of them, including each of the last five, yet to win at Dean Court in a league fixture ever.

Bournemouth vs Everton preview

After both were badly beaten on Saturday, who will get back to winning ways by the South Coast? Bournemouth made a flying start to their weekend trip to Sunderland, racing into a 2-0 lead, with Amine Adli breaking the deadlock before Tyler Adams scored an astonishing long-range strike from inside the centre circle. However, the Black Cats pulled one back from the penalty spot, equalised shortly after half time and then snatching victory towards the end.

As a result of this gut-wrenching reverse, Andoni Iraola's side have lost three successive away games, without a win in four overall, having been unbeaten in eight before a pretty miserable November. This has seen the Cherries sink down to 11th and, with Chelsea and then Manchester United up next, Bournemouth will feel they really need to win this one to rebuild some confidence.

As for Everton, they make the mid-week 218 mile journey south following a bruising battering at the weekend. On Saturday evening, David Moyes' team were demolished by Newcastle, 3-0 down by half time with the Magpies adding a fourth before the hour mark, meaning Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall's lovely late goal proved to be scant consolation for those who remained inside Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Before this, the Blues had enjoyed back-to-back victories, swatting aside Fulham at Bramley-Moore Dock, before last Monday's memorable victory at Old Trafford. Everton managed to beat Manchester United 1-0, despite the fact that Idrissa Gana Gueye was sent off in the 13th minute for slapping teammate Michael Keane, with Dewsbury-Hall curling home the only goal of the night. This all leaves the Blues 14th, just one point above their hosts, so can they end their miserable record in Dorset and beat Bournemouth away from home in the league for the very first time?

Bournemouth team news

Marcos Senesi and David Brooks are both suspended, having been shown their fifth yellow cards of the campaign at the Stadium of Light, while Lewis Cook is also banned, following his injury time red card on Wearside.

As a result, Veljko Milosavljević will come in to partner Bafodé Diakité at the heart of defence, while Marcus Tavernier and weekend scorer Amine Adli could keep their place in midfield.

Scottish duo Ryan Christie and Ben Gannon-Doak both remain injured, while Álex Jiménez and Tyler Adams would sit out Saturday's visit from Chelsea if cautioned.

Bournemouth predicted lineup vs Everton: (4-2-3-1): Petrović, Smith, Diakité, Milosavljević, Truffert; Adams, Scott, Semenyo, Tavernier, Adli; Evanilson.

Bournemouth player to watch vs Everton

Antoine Semenyo remains Bournemouth's top-scorer this season with six goals, albeit the most recent of these came against Fulham on 10 October, so can he end this draught?

Everton team news

Idrissa Gana Gueye's three-match ban continues, while Jarrad Branthwaite and Nathan Patterson remain injured.

In Gueye's absence, Tim Iroegbunam started at the base of midfield at the weekend, albeit he was replaced at half time by Carlos Alcaraz, so it'll be interesting to see who David Moyes goes for here.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is looking to score in a third successive game, while Thierno Barry cruelly had his first goal for the club taken away by VAR on Saturday, so can he break that duck? Iroegbunam and James Garner would sit out Saturday's clash with Nottingham Forest if cautioned.

Everton predicted lineup vs Bournemouth: (4-3-3): Pickford; O'Brien, Keane, Tarkowski, Mykolenko; Iroegbunam, Garner, Dewsbury-Hall, Ndiaye, Grealish; Barry.

Everton player to watch vs Bournemouth

Iliman Ndiaye has scored four times this season, but has never netted in four career meetings with Bournemouth, so can he change that fact?

Bournemouth vs Everton prediction

Bournemouth always beat Everton at Dean Court and we are backing the Cherries to once again do just that when the pair clash by the South Coast on Tuesday: Bournemouth 2-1 Everton.
