LB: Alex Sandro

At first, I thought that this might be good time to give Alex Sandro a day off because this is just a Coppa match, but I think they’ll be a little bit hesitant to throw Mattia De Sciglio right back into the starting lineup in Milan. So that leaves Sandro to keep his starting spot and try to cut off Milan’s supply to Zlatan. He should be up to the task and will hopefully even be able to add some attacking flair in this one.

CB: Matthijs de Ligt

The match against Fiorentina couldn’t have gone much better for Matthijs de Ligt. The defense earned a clean sheet and he scored the second goal of his Juve career. Saturday’s match against Verona couldn’t have gone much worse as Juve struggled with Verona’s pressure and gave up 2 goals in a loss. This is a great opportunity for de Ligt to step up and help the defense turn things around as he gets his last few shots to show Juve they need to keep him in the rotation when Chiellini returns.

CB: Leonardo Bonucci

It’s been a while since Leonardo Bonucci has had a major mistake to recover from, but his handball against Verona was an awful moment in what has otherwise been a fantastic season. He’ll get a chance at redemption in this match and we should still be expecting another great performance out of him.

RB: Juan Cuadrado

With Danilo still sidelined and Mattia De Sciglio just returning from an injury of his own, Juan Cuadrado doesn’t really have much competition for this spot. That’s really all he has going for him as he hasn’t been great on either end of the field lately for Juve. He needs to step his game up before De Sciglio or Danilo can take this spot over or he could be destined for a spot on the bench to finish this season.
