Fulham are currently unbeaten in three meetings with Tottenham, last enjoying a longer streak in 2004. The Cottagers though have won only one of their last 16 away games against Spurs, this a 1-0 victory in March 2013 when Dimitar Berbatov was the only scorer at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham vs Fulham preview

After a bruising and miserable week for all Tottenham Hotspur supporters, can they get back to winning ways? Last Sunday, Thomas Frank's side were frankly pitiful, demolished 4-1 by Arsenal in the North London derby, with Richarlison's long-range lob the most spectacular of scant consolation goals. Then on Wednesday, Spurs were involved in a very entertaining game in Paris, but were ultimately defeated 5-3 by PSG at the Parc des Princes. Richarlison actually gave the visitors a shock lead in the city of love, while Randal Kolo Muani scored twice against his parent club, albeit all in vain.

That was definitely an improved performance, admittedly that's a low bar, so now it is important that Frank's side pick up three points. Spurs start the day ninth in the Premier League table, without a win in three, largely as a result of their miserable home form. Since beating Burnley on the opening day, Tottenham have not won any of their five league games, collecting just two points. So, will the Lilywhites avoid a Saturday night slip-up in this London derby?

As for Fulham, they claimed a vital victory last weekend, now seeking an illusive win on the road. A week ago, Raúl Jiménez's goal just six minutes from time was enough to see Marco Silva's side snatch a 1-0 victory over Sunderland at Craven Cottage. That is now back-to-back home wins for the Whites, thereby lifting them up to 15th, albeit just three points clear of the relegation zone.

However, on the road, the Cottagers are still yet to taste victory this season. Since drawing 1-1 at Brighton on the opening day, Rodrigo Muniz's 97th minute equaliser pinching a point, Fulham have lost all five Premier League away games, beaten at Chelsea, Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Newcastle and most recently Everton. So, they certainly make the 12.6 mile journey across the capital as underdogs, but could an appointment with doctor Tottenham cure Fulham's away day blues?

In terms of who will feature, Archie Gray was the surrpise starter against Paris Saint-Germain, but João Palhinha could return to face his former club.

In attack, Wilson Odobert and Mohammed Kudus were the starting wingers against Arsenal, before both were benched on Wednesday, while Randal Kolo Muani's double could see him keep his place.

Tottenham Hotspur predicted lineup vs Fulham: (4-2-3-1): Vicario; Porro, van de Ven, Romero, Udogie; Palhinha, Bentancur, Kudus, Simons, Richarlison; Kolo Muani.

Mohammed Kudus never scored in any of his four meetings with Fulham during his time at West Ham, so can he change that by netting at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first time since making the summer move?

Fulham team news

Key defensive midfielder Saša Lukić can return, having served his one-match suspension against Sunderland, but left-back Antonee Robinson and striker Rodrigo Muniz do remain sidelined.

Emile Smith Rowe and Samu Chukwueze changed the game last weekend when introduced off the bench together in the 64th minute, so has either done enough to earn a start this time?

Fulham predicted lineup vs Tottenham Hotspur: (4-2-3-1): Leno; Tete, Andersen, Bassey, Sessegnon; Berge, Lukić, Wilson, Smith Rowe, Iwobi; Jiménez.

While the former Arsenal contingent should expect a hostile reception, the same cannot be said of Ryan Sessegnon. In Robinson's absence, he has started every Premier League match since the opening day at left-back, and here will face the side for whom he made 57 appearances.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Fulham prediction

Spurs almost never win at home and Fulham are yet to win away. Something has got to give on Saturday night, and we are forecasting a narrow Tottenham victory: Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Fulham.
