Marko Pjaca

Marko Pjaca is another member of Juve’s squad who seems like an easy choice to be sold as soon as possible. He came to Juventus with a ton of potential, as the Croatian league’s most lucrative sale ever.

Unfortunately, it didn’t take long for injuries to begin plaguing his career. Just a couple of months after his Juve debut, he cracked his fibula while on international duty and lost 3 months of his season.

When he came back, it looked like he would be able to make an impact, scoring as a sub against Porto in a Champions League match, but the injuriy would strike again shortly after. This time it was an ACL tear while once again on international duty and this time it cost him 6 months.

When he returned from the injury, Juve sent him out on loan to Schalke, who was hoping he could help them with their push for a Champions League spot. However, he only managed to play 260 minutes in half of a season before returning to Juve.

Once he returned he was sent to Fiorentina where he managed to make 19 appearances before another ACL injury that he has yet to fully recover from. That injury history is enough to make it impossible for Juve to trust him in the future.

Even when he is healthy, they don’t really have a place for him right now, so he should be given the chance to see if he can stay healthy and carve out a role elsewhere. He is still young enough that Juve should be able to still get a decent price for him. Hopefully, he can find a team that is willing to give him the chance to compete for a starting role and put his injury struggles behind him.
